The
existing cooperation between both companies for combined (U)SIM/(U)SAT handset
testing already covers the related GSM/W-CDMA 3GPP Test Specifications
(51.010-1/SIM, 51.010-4/SAT, 31.121/USIM, 31.124/USAT) using the Anritsu
MD8470A. The success of this test platform over the past three years encouraged
both companies to take a similar step for LTE with the Anritsu MD8475A
signalling tester, which supports LTE, GSM and W-CDMA radio access
technologies.
COMPRION
SIMfony LTE is a GCF/PTCRB validated system for comprehensive 3GPP handset
testing. Based on the established IT³ Platform, it provides the combined card
interface tests required for LTE handset certification.
“We are happy to increase the popularity of our solution for combined handset testing with the Anritsu MD8475A,” said COMPRION Managing Director Michael Wehmeier. “The Anritsu signalling tester offers our customers a cost-effective way to test the UICC interface without blocking the valuable time of their dedicated protocol conformance test systems.”
“We
are delighted that COMPRION has chosen the Anritsu MD8475A signalling tester
for its market-leading SIMfony LTE solution,” said Anritsu’s Head of New
Technology T&M Business Development Kenji Ohashi. “LTE device makers now
have access to the most reliable and cost-effective solution for testing the
UICC interface.”
The
COMPRION SIMfony LTE system works seamlessly with the Anritsu MD8475A
signalling tester. All procedures and tests are integrated and controlled using
the COMPRION IT³ GUI. With its integrated test system synchronization and
efficient error debugging capabilities, COMPRION SIMfony is the perfect
companion for everyone searching for a fast, reliable and easy-to-use mobile
handset conformance test system.
