Oscilloscopes redefined: Agilent's NEW Infiniivision X-Series

Agilent's 2000 X-series Oscilloscope
Agilent has finally unveiled its latest oscilloscope series that promises to redefine oscilloscopes as we know it. It is aimed at the entry-level oscilloscope market, which means it's for the price-conscious. There are 26 models which cover bandwidths of 70 MHz to 500 MHz with a starting price of $1230 for the 2000 X-series and $2810 for the 3000 X-series. Note, that this is just the starting price. Adding more options to the oscilloscope configuration will increase the overall price, but the advantage here is that you pay for what you need now.

It appears that Agilent's strategy is to offer users more bang for their buck with the concept of "See more. Do more. Get more." So here's what's more than the usual:
  • See more of your signals more of the time with the largest screen in its class, the deepest memory and the fastest waveform update rates
  • Do more with the power of up to 4 instruments in 1: oscilloscope, logic analyzer, WaveGen built-in function generator, and protocol analyzer
  • Get more investment protection with the industry’s only fully upgradable oscilloscope, including bandwidth
